Jim Carr
President
With over 35 years of experience in television production, seven Emmy awards, and seventeen Olympic Games with NBC & CBS under his belt, Jim is an invaluable asset to the High Rock Mobile Team. When building High Rock 1, Jim incorporated his vast experience and technical knowledge into the design of the truck, having a unique understanding of the demands and challenges arising in any television broadcast, large or small.
Melissa Ives
Finance, Human Resource & Safety Coordinator
Melissa has over nineteen years experience working in the broadcast sports and entertainment industry. She serves as our Financial Controller, Safety Officer and handles all Human Resource matters. With a passion for volunteering and helping others, she is constantly organizing company-wide activities to help support our local community. Melissa lives in Glens Falls, New York with her husband Bob and their son’s, Cooper & Brady. While she may wear many hats during working hours, her favorite job title is that of Mom. She spends most of her free time on the road, in the minivan she swore she would never own (and love), driving her very active boys to their many games and practices.
Jeff Leonard
EIC
Jeff has been in the Broadcast industry for 25 years. Starting out as a utility as a teenager and quickly moving up to Broadcast Engineer putting his schooling to good use. He has been apart of and kept up with the ever changing technology associated with broadcasts including remote broadcasting and post- pandemic necessities in the industry. During his career he has been selected to work at broadcasts on five continents and most of the fifty states. Jeff has been the senior engineer at the MLB All-Star game, the Daytona 500, Stanley Cup Playoffs and network 'A' level NFL football including a Super- Bowl halftime show. He is also the recipient of a Technical Emmy Award.
Andrew Johnson
Driver/E2
Andrew joined the High Rock Mobile team in 2018 as our Mobile Unit Engineering Assistant & Driver. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather and mother he is a third generation broadcast professional and came to us with over two decades of experience in the sports, national news and entertainment industry. After spending most of his career living on the West Coast, he loves being able to work a little closer to his hometown of Glens Falls, New York. When not on the road, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and his two spoiled dogs Aoife & Ruby.
Aidan Manning
E2/Support
Aidan joined the High Rock family in fall of 2023. Aidan first interned with Carr-Hughes Productions at the World University Games in January of 2023 and joined the team full time in the fall of the same year. Aidan graduated in May of 2023 from SUNY Plattsburgh. Aidan started as a handheld camera operator for the Saratoga Racecourse in 2022 and had done a variety freelance work in upstate NY. Aidan is a big ski and skateboard enthusiast and enjoys spending his winters on a mountain and summers in a skatepark with his friends.
